I purchase a couple Kingston Data drives a while ago…but SanDisk is SO much better. The U3 technology is GREAT!

The Sandisk Cruzer Titanium series are the only well-constructed thumb drives I’ve found, so my family owns several in 2, 4, 8 and 16 GB capacities. All the others I’ve owned break within a few months. I’m not fond of the U3 security add-on so I use the Sandisk utility to remove it – my only minor complaint about them. Good stuff!

I’ve tried several brands of flash drive, and the Cruzer Countour is the fastest one I’ve found. Unlike many other cheaper brands which won’t advertise their speed, this Contour works as advertised and is what I needed to transfer large files without falling asleep in the process. While opening and closing the device takes a little getting used to, it’s nice to be able to forget about losing the cap.

It really does what it say, i’ve been having this item for 7 months, and i’ve been using it with no problem at all.

- Windows XP, in all its versions, find the flash drive immediately.
- The cap doesn’t go out as other flash drive.
- The drive fit in any usb port with no problem, 2.0 and 1.1 speed.
- It has a nice green light that show you the status of the driver. It flashes when it’s busy, and stay on when it isn’t.
- When you safely remove the item from the desktop bar, the light turn off, letting you know that it’s now ready to taking out at not risk of loosing information.
- It’s not heavy at all

If you just need to move some documents and music from one place to another, and do not manage really heavy imformation this is the drive for you.

It is an excellent product with hardly any issues. The CDROM software on the flash drive can be removed easily, if needed. The speed of transferring data is fast if it is hooked into USB 2.0 full speed hub. The plastic covering of the drive is okay. You do not have an additional cap, which you may loose. That’s a positive. Its small and sleek. It costs under 16$. What more do you want?
